I'm now on ADSL. Groovy. I wonder how badly this will screw up my LAN connection when I take the lap top to work... Going to sign up with an acting course. Got a call back for a play. Cleaned the kitchen. Somebody get me off this crazy thing...

Lovely, snowy weekend. X-country skiing on Saturday. Sat in on an acting class on Sunday. Like the instructor, not so much a fan about the class. He has his own teaching studio which I'm going to drop into on Wednesday night, and hopefully that will be better. Audition for a play - "Tartuffe" by Moliere - last night. A cold read. I gave a good read, but not an "amazing" one. Hopefully get a call back next week when I can actually prepare something for them. Down to -6 here in Vancouver, which is damn cold by local standards. Don't really miss the -25 those of you are currently in.

Ah, so summer planting in the ESSF is the best option, without cold storing the seedlings first. You pluck them from the nursery after bud set and pop them into the ground to let the roots grow. And people say I do nothing at work! So, I made the switch from using an electric razor to using a Gillette Mach 3. I have to shave twice to get the same closeness, and my face is slowly getting used to it. Bleeding and razor burn aside, it's kind of fun to be shaving like a real man now... Might have a chance to do some voice work for a friend of a friend who designs computer games. We'll see how the audition goes...

Well, I've taken the plunge and started sending out "feelers" for becoming a pharmacuetical sales rep. I better get a car out of it. Updated my MS software so maybe I'll make my website prettier on the weekend. Watched "The Royal Tanenbaums" last night. Gene Hackman was good, but Oscar good? Nahhhhhh. Ben Stiller had the most poignent, real moment. I can't take Owen Wilson seriously after Shanghai Noon and the Walk-Off in "Zoolander". Actually Wilson has the uncanny ability to deliver absolute cheezeball lines with an unwavering sincerity. I must study this art to become an effective sales rep. Reading a collection of Bruce Lee's correspondence now. And a Stephen King novel. And trying to come up with a good idea for my next theatre short. Life so busy...
