Holy cow, it's been a month since my last Blog! In that time Jason got married, necessitating a whirlwind trip to Calgary. The Helfrichs throw a damn fine party! Not enough time to visit everyone though.

I shot my first commercial, a lovely advertisement for JEEP, to be shown exclusively in Puerto Rico. If anyone ever sees it, please tell me how my hair looked. My first paid film/television acting job. A star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame can't be far off...

Rehearsals for "Earnest" have been going very well, and we open in a week. Now if I could just find my English accent. Where did I put it?

Work's been heating up now that school is back in session. They are hiring two additional Recruiters. We'll be presenting soon at a school near you.

Saw Kevin Costner's "Open Range", filmed out on the Stoney Reserve near K-Country. Kind of weird to see Mount Yam in the background of a few of the shots. I thought that aside from the writing it was a very good film - some of the lines were a bit too "period". I hope that it salvages a bit of Costner's career, 'cause I don't think many people will see the movie. However, it is extremely well shot, and has one of the most realistic gun showdowns I've seen on film, even better than "Unforgiven". I thought Costner did a good good job too - he gave shadings to the character that really worked. And Duvall is perfect as usual. Imagine Duvall and Depp in a movie together! Makes your head hurt, don't it?
